Blogging interview #5: Crossroadadventure

by On The Fly Blog

Crossroadadventure is a travel blog run by Vansh Tiwari, based in Delhi. It’s full of insane adventures and great photography. From detailed recounts of trips, to tips and advice, to posts about blogging; this site has it all. It’s immediately obvious that Vansh has an incredible passion for travel and it’s very inspiring talking to someone who genuinely wants to share his experience in order to foster this passion in others.

“Hello, my name is Vansh Tiwari, Travel Blogger from New Delhi, India. I share my adventures, travel stories and tips on my dedicated travel blog – www.crossroadadventure.com. You can follow my journey on Facebook and Instagram.”

Q: What made you start Blogging?

A: One used to travel a lot before started blogging too, and one day thought that my travels can benefit others if I portray them in terms of travel stories and guides. i.e. the birth of crossroadadventure. I had derived the name from crossroad meaning two roads; one leading to a normal life and other leading to an inspiring and adventurous life.

Q: Do you have a plan or specific goal for your blog?

A: Yes, I have a plan of making my blog a recognized brand in the travel industry. So that I can help others also start choosing what they really wanted to do. My goal is to cover almost every part of world and list on my blog.

Q: Do you have a favourite post out of all those you have written?

This is very difficult because all were written by me and choosing one is heart-breaking. When I wrote the very first blog, I literally had no idea that how the thing goes, but as the day proceeded, I have learnt a lot and with latest posts I update myself every day.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I see myself making my blog a well known top brand in the travel niche and most probably can provide job opportunities to the people who want a nomad life.

Q: If you could relive one era of your life, which would it be and
why?

A: I want to re live childhood days where pressure was not in the dictionary. Especially pressure from other people’s like “study”, “work-hard” and etc. Although, if you are doing hard-work in this stage then no body ready to believes you. The hard truth.

Q: How do you define happiness?

A: For me happiness is just being myself the way I am. If I am doing something passionately that’s happiness for me, If I am doing something forcefully then it’s peer pressure for me.

Q: What’s your favourite culture out of those you have visited?

A: My favourite culture is Pahadi culture, in the north part of India in Himachal where people just want you to get involved any how and enjoy your time and make moments without any pressure. Basically, I love mountains and that’s how I get introduced to the Pahadi culture.

Q: What languages do you speak?

A: I can fluently speak Hindi (mother tongue) and English. Although, I had studied Punjabi till high school and now also can speak and read a little bit. Spanish as an intermediate, had studied in bachelors.

Q: What country is top of your bucket list to travel to?

Countries like Australia, Turkey, New Zealand and Spain are some amongst my travel list.
